I am an Assistant Professor in the Operations and Logistics division at UBC Sauder.
Prior to joining UBC, I received my PhD from the Operations Research Center at
MIT, advised by Dimitris Bertsimas. I also spent a year as a postdoctoral research fellow at Lyft.
Before my PhD, I spent two years at an operations research and business analytics consulting company called Analytics Operations Engineering (since acquired by McKinsey & Company).
I completed my undergraduate degree at Princeton University in 2013.
I am interested in large-scale, data-driven optimization with applications in transportation.
My research centers on applications in urban mass transit and micromobility, but I am broadly interested in topics with positive social impact.
